Muslin is light, airy and super soft - perfect for our cloths, clothing and bed linen. But how do you wash and care for it so that it stays beautiful even after many washes? Don't worry, it's easier than you think! Here you will find out the best tips for gently cleaning your muslin and keeping it looking new for a long time.

1. How do I wash my muslin products?

Our products are made from 100% muslin organic cotton and are therefore a natural material. We recommend washing the products at 60 degrees the first time, as the fabric always shrinks a little when washed for the first time. To ensure that your muslin product still fits perfectly, we take this into account and sew our products a little larger.

After the first wash cycle, you can set the wash cycles to lower temperatures of 30 to 40 degrees. This protects the color of the fabric and also the environment.

If you are unsure which washing temperature is suitable for your product, you can find the exact information on the product page.

2. How do I clean my muslin products if they are heavily soiled?

If there are stubborn stains on your muslin products, you can also clean our bed linen blankets at 60 degrees. For our other products, such as clothing and play mats, we recommend that you use conventional stain removers or household products to remove stains.

3. How do I dry my muslin products correctly?

It's best to let your products air dry. If things have to happen quickly, we recommend drying in the dryer only on a gentle cycle and on a low setting.

4. Do I have to iron my muslin products?

Muslin is a very easy-care fabric and therefore does not need to be ironed. If you have ironed muslin - no problem! It gets its structure back after the next wash.

5. How do I keep the look of my muslin products?

It's very easy! Muslin gets its typical “crinkle look” by slightly twisting the weaving thread. Later, the products become softer through washing and acquire the typical muslin characteristics.
