Super easy and quick: this date-peanut bark tastes incredibly delicious and is the perfect snack for in between meals. With creamy peanut butter and dark chocolate, this simple recipe is a hit with everyone.

For this recipe you need:

  • 10 Medjoul dates
  • 100g dark chocolate
  • 80g peanut butter
  • 30g roasted peanuts
  • Salt

Tip: We used this information for our version. Of course, you can adapt the recipe depending on your preference and, for example, use more peanut butter. Instead of peanuts, you could also try cashews or almonds. Nothing stands in the way of your creativity here.

Step 1

Cut the dates and remove the stones. Line a baking dish with parchment paper and arrange the dates inside-side down until the dish is mostly covered. You can also press the dates a little to help them stick to the bottom.

Step 2

Now pour the peanut butter over the dates. If your peanut butter is a little firmer, you can warm it up a little beforehand using a water bath. Spread the peanut butter evenly over the date base. Then place the mold in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.

Step 3

Melt the chocolate over a water bath. After the last 30 minutes, you can pour the chocolate over your date-peanut butter base and distribute it evenly.

Step 4

Top the whole thing with peanuts and a little salt and put the dish in the freezer for another 20 minutes. Then you can break or cut the date bark into pieces and enjoy.

The date-peanut bark can be stored in an airtight container in the freezer for several days.
